SOLA Lions Club Announces “First Roll for Inclusion” Event
The SOLA Lions Club of Whittier is proud to announce its “First Roll for Inclusion” ribbon-cutting ceremony on Tuesday, March 10 at 4:00 PM at the north side of Michigan Park.
Through a matching grant from the California Lions Foundation, the club has purchased a portable bocce ball court to support Special Olympics teams in Whittier. This initiative expands inclusive athletic opportunities and strengthens community engagement for athletes with disabilities.
The public and media are invited to attend the ribbon cutting and celebrate this milestone moment of inclusion and service.
